关于Build 2195.3的传闻记录

1999-12-07：微软在他们的测试计划FTP服务器上放上"build2194"文件夹，当天在其中放出了Build 2194。此前有Build 2134、2154、2172、2183开放。用户MousePad从FTP抓取的build 2194大小为280MB，另有用户C[ha]K从同个FTP抓取的ISO版大小为366MB，由此处及其他零散信息可以知道，FTP中放出的Build同时有散装包和ISO包两份。

Betanews: Windows 2000 Goes Gold
Sources have reported today that Windows 2000 Build 2195 has hit Release To Manufacturing. Microsoft had encountered a few last minute bugs which led to the delay in release, initially slated for the 8th. Microsoft is set to begin shipping Windows 2000 on February 17th of next year. Although not clear on whether final CDs will ship to beta participants, Microsoft has posted the golden build to their beta FTP site and is expected to begin allowing downloads tomorrow morning. 1999-12-15：此前据说WUGNET有消息称2195为正式版，且Microsoft官方当天发文称正式版发布日期为2000-02-17。
Build 2195被发现在Microsoft NTBeta FTP中创建了文件夹，隔天(12-16)放出了Build 2195，放出版本为120天评估版，零散信息表示同时有散装包和ISO版。
12-15到12-16间据用户chameleon称，他一直听到有人声称2195.3是真正RTM版；后续12-19 chameleon回复中提到EFNet #win2000内的争论，不知2195.3言论是否从这里开始出现，但水木清华帖称2195.3是来源于一个马上nuked掉的不知名组release，后续根据Seldzar发言"2195.3 is most likely Coreutils being creative and F**king with us"可猜测发布该nuked的组为CoreUtil，但根据其他来源也可能为TSUiSO；该用户认为该版本到12-16为止仍锁在ntbeta ftp中，随后YuppieScum回复称未在NTBeta FTP站点中看到该目录。然后，用户DrSchmoe**猜测**称beta文件夹中的2195为2195.3，且猜测2195.2和2195.1是不可引导的。此后在另外一帖内，12-17用户Igor称120天评估版是2195.1，而无timebomb版为2195.3。12-18用户Seldzar称通过检查i386\dosnet.inf的版本字符串分辨2195.3，之后DrSchmoe重申此前的言论只是他的猜测。2195.3这一伪造版本号及对应辟谣的传播可能从此开始。
* 关于安全模式2195 FREE字样的争论、CoreUtil的release是否为破解版的争论并不重要，不细说了。

1999-12-15同一天，CoreUtil发布了Win2000 Release，被称为"Win2k FINAL FULL RETAIL"，该版本无timebomb，提到的是ISO版。水木清华帖称Core发布release（不一定是该release）有硬盘版和ISO版。

2000-01-17：用户foxman98声称在i386中搜win95upg.inf打开看版本字符串可区分2195.1和2195.3，明显为谣言。

2000-03-03：
用户Wintermute，该回复说明了零售版和12月版的一点区别，一些显卡驱动遭到了移除或替换：
Disregarding the "free" question and going back to the original one about the difference between the pre-Feb 17th 2195 build and the store-bought versions, it turns out there is actually a difference. Apparently after the original release of the 2195 build back in December a number of licensing issues arose in the video drivers included with Windows 2000. To keep from having to deal with this issue or pay any royalties Microsoft opted to remove them. Some were replaced with less than perfect alternatives and some were not replaced at all. For this reason a number of people have reported that after they install the store-bought Win2k, they're video stops working.

I haven't talked to anyone who this has happened to but I've seen posts about it on a few different BB's. Its kinda funny that the store-bought version is actually worse than the pre-Feb 17th version. Guess I'll be holding on to my old copy for a bit longer. Just an interesting bit of info I thought you might be interested in knowing..........


2000-03-18：据水木清华帖称，CORE发布了散装包和ISO版，这是最早的warez版win2000，随后某个组织release了所谓的2195.3，结果马上就被nuked掉了。之后PWA发布了OEM版，并在NFO中说明CORE组发布更早的事实。“微软在Release最终版时，一共出了两个版本，一个是没有时间限制的，一个是有120天时间限制的。而那个没有时间限制的版本，保密性极高，一般的微软职员都没权使用，只能使用120天（翻译错误，原NFO写440天）限制版的。”所以PWA就比CORE晚了几天才release。
