综述
Microsoft Windows 8.1 for IoT(Codename "Blue IoT")是Microsoft为购买Intel Galileo Boards的消费者专门开发的一套Windows IoT系统。该系统是Windows在IoT市场上的第一次尝试。所积累的经验为Windows 10 IoT的开发打下基础。此前可以从MS Connect获取。
2015年11月18日，微软宣布将于2015年11月30日停止对所有仍在运行Windows 8.1 for IoT的Intel Galileo Board (Gen 1 & Gen 2)的服务支持。
