Windows Longhorn 已泄露的最早 Build，泄露于 2002 年 11 月 18 日。
新的特性
- 它有一张新的默认壁纸。
- 新的主题叫做”Plex”（Luna 主题和 Windows 经典主题仍然可用）。
- 标题栏文字居中了。
- 资源管理器也有一些改变，在“我的电脑”里磁盘会显示可用空间，在文件夹视图上方有一个详细的预览视图。
- 控制面板中大多数项和 Windows XP 一样，但多了两个新条目：我的硬件、便捷音频设备。
- 一些 Avalon 的痕迹已经出现了，比如显示设置。但并没有完成，而且很容易出问题。
- 引入 WinFS 的早期版本，似乎只是消耗大量内存和处理器时间。
- 引入 Windows 侧边栏，可通过任务栏属性开启。
- 引入我的联系人，似乎基于 WinFS。
- 侧边栏包括时钟、搜索栏、虚拟桌面、快速启动栏、用户栏、程序栏、边栏秀、人脉。
- 支持在桌面等文件夹上新建边栏秀。
- 支持虚拟桌面，并且可以通过Win+1/2/3/4来切换自带的4个背景。
- Windows 图片和传真查看器引入防红眼功能。
- 新版文件冲突处理和 DCE 在此版本被隐藏。
- 登录屏幕具有新的外观。
- Internet Explorer 升级到 6.05。
- OOBE 的背景音乐已经从“XP Welcome Music”改为“Pink Martini 的 No Hay Problema”

Lately, general public has been saying that #Betas doesn't have LH,
and tons of crap just because others did such a so-so job on their
divx video (yo where the heck is the ISO?). Well, you asked for it!!
So we did it ;)~~~ Please note it is still in Alpha stage, so you may
experience constant crashes. This release is mainly to fulfill your
curiosity as well as showing off our commitment to the public
regarding the existence of Windows Longhorn. Now you have the ISO,
take it and Enjoy!
We will be releasing newer builds as time goes on, so cross your
fingers and wait ;)

1.) Unpack to hard drive
2.) Burn the image to CD and install
3.) Use any Windows.NET RC1 key to install and activate

P.S. You can only install Longhorn by choosing the upgrade option.
The CD is originally non-bootable; thus you can’t choose
fresh install.
Tip! If LH seems to run too slow, you can uninstall WinFS at the
Add/Remove Windows components. Thus, it should greatly increase
your system speed if not double it :D
