综述
Windows for Workgroups 3.11，Codename “SnowBall”(以下简称WFW)集成了一组对等网络服务和网络应用功能.安装过程都与Windows 95基本一致,WFW提供较好的网络支持,能方便的与其它的Windows系统和软件连接起来.WFW的一些网络应用软件与Windows 95类似WFW无需专用服务器,价格也比较便宜.WFW的主要缺点就是对数据的保密性较差,WFW适合那些熟悉Windows的用户,且适合在数据文件保密性要求不高的场合使用.
