Ok, well sorry for the missing files, I will explain why it was
missing and hope you people understand. At around 12:30am this
morning we got word of this new Win95 commin off the presses, so
we downloaded it to a shell and the packaging was put upon me
(AphRo_MaN) and Sirjay, our other vice president. The Supplier
nash, said I should do disks 1-3 and Sj do disks 4-28. But what
he failed to make clear is WHAT IS IN THOSE DISKS. I d/l'd disk
1 which was 3.7megs and split it into 2 disks (1.66MB and 1.7MB)
and d/l disk 2 (Win95_02.cab) and put it in. So i thought my
job was done, but little did i know that SirJay was doing CABS
4-28 not Disks 4-28 ..This is what happens when you desynch yer
suppliers who are working on the same release ppl!! Not to mention
all three of us were very fatigued, i had a COBOL midterm today
and Sirjay had to be at work in 4 hours, and the supplier had not
slept in 2 days. We rushed the release i know, it even suprised me
to hell to get it out so damn fast ..(usually it takes us the better
part of a day to get a release of Win95 out). We did not know it
was messed up coz both packagers were desynched and thought each
other was doing something they wern't. So we are all equally to
blame. Here is the fix none the less, and we hope you enjoy it.
There is a rumor going around that fATE will get Windows 95 Build
1111. If they do, good fer them, but i still find it hard to
believe since we just got this release direct from MS approx
12 hours ago. Dark*Star will continue to serve, more messups like
this are not possible to prevent 100%, but we will try our best,
and hope u accept this explanation as to why this happened.
