综述
Microsoft WinPad 是微软早年间为了移动市场探索而开发的一款产品。从 WinPad 可以窥见90年代微软对于智能数字助理和个人消费者移动产品用途的一些独到想法。最初基于 Windows 3.1，后期开发转移到了 Windows 95 平台。在已知的 Build 里，Windows 95 Build 73f 包含了第一个迁移到新平台的 WinPad Build，最后一个包含 Microsoft WinPad 的 Build 是 Windows 95 Build 275。
Microsoft WinPad 包含一系列为触控笔和移动用途所设计的应用程序，如电子邮件管理，传真，笔记本，提醒事项（To-Do）等，在设计下，Microsoft WinPad 设备将可以和 Windows 95 计算机进行数据同步。Microsoft WinPad 的一些设计影响了后来的移动设备上的 Windows系列产品。
也有 Handheld Windows 或者 At Work for Handhelds 的称呼。
开发过程
Windows 3.1 环境下的 Microsoft WinPad 包含完整的 SDK 和调试版本，而 Windows 95 平台下的 Build 则饱受限制。在 Windows 95 的 Beta 3 阶段时，由于所需内存量过高，电池消耗问题以及围绕项目本身所投入的成本评估过大，Microsoft 放弃了 WinPad 的开发。
