官方RC1版本，日文版安装光盘曾在1994年11月及12月发行的多种杂志中附录。
在GUI Stage安装程序检测到您的显示适配器的同时，您还可以安装其他驱动程序以在第一次登录之前使显示器正常工作。

使用MS-DOS 5.0 Bootdisk对硬盘进行分区和格式化，然后使用“WINNT.EXE”开始安装。
使用MS-DOS 6.22启动盘对硬盘进行分区和格式化，然后使用“WINNT /B”开始安装。
 
对于x86版本，如需在Pentium II+中安装，需在GUI安装之前，将<code>C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32</code>下的<code>initial.inf</code>和<code>setup.inf</code>中"" ? $(!LIBHANDLE) GetProcessor改为$(ProcessorID_I586)。
 
* 现有英文Workstation AXP安装文件并未损坏，<code>WINNT.A25</code>所在软盘镜像可用undisk解包得到正确文件。

对于x86版本，如需在Pentium II+中安装，需在GUI安装之前，将C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32下的initial.inf和setup.inf中"" ? $(!LIBHANDLE) GetProcessor改为$(ProcessorID_I586)。

  • 现有英文Workstation AXP安装文件并未损坏，WINNT.A25所在软盘镜像可用undisk解包得到正确文件。
